The Hunter District Bromeliad Society, encourages and educates hobbyist growers in the cultivation and propagation of Bromeliads. We hold monthly general meetings, have bromeliad growing discussions, plant displays, competitions and have an extensive range of bromeliads for sale. The monthly newsletter is sent to all members. This website is where Members and Visitors can view other growers' bromeliad gardens and plant collections.

Just 90 minutes drive north of Sydney, is Newcastle, head of the Hunter Region, the ultimate playground.
The hardest decision you'll have to make here is which direction to turn first. Do you opt for world class wine and vineyards, awe-inspiring wilderness, spectacular coastline and beaches or picturesque countryside.
